Best Juice Extractor Reviews

The Waring Pro juicer is definitely popular with some people for its durability.

The Waring pro juicer model JEX328 has a lot of devoted fans and the JEX450 big mouth models has some too. Both of these juicers are solidly built featuring a durable die-cast base and brushed stainless steel housing. Many beginning juicers purchase and seem to enjoy the Waring JEX328 juicers. It can be found for under $100. The Waring model JEX450 juicer can be found usually under $150.

There are a lot of reconditioned and remanufactured models of these juicers available. So you can get them cheaper if you don't mind a remanufactured one. Their warranties are more limited however.

To be honest I don't think I would buy either of these juicers. When I compare juicers, I feel there are other models on the market by other companies that would suit my needs better.

Here are some reasons why I don't care too much for these Waring juicer extractors:

  • I don't feel there is anything interesting about these juicers. They seem like slapped together versions of other centrifugal juicers. They just don't feel "special" or innovative at all. They feel to me to be one step up from a Juiceman juicer or on the performance level of a Jack Lalanne Power Juicer. I think I would rather have a Jack Lalanne Power juicer pro than one of these Waring juicers. And I'm not sure that would be a good buy either.
  • In product reviews I have read the Waring juicers tend to be more work to clean and the parts don't fit together quickly and snuggly. You have to kind of play at it. Now that I have an Omega 8003 juicer, I realize just how easy to clean and put together a juicer can be.
  • I don't care for the design of these juicers. They look more like coffee machines than juice extractors. Plus I like the idea of buying a juicer from a company that primarily makes juicers. Waring makes many appliances. I would buy a blender from them before I bought a juicer.
  • The Waring JEX450 juicer gets a lot of remarks about its size. It is large. Some people feel it is larger than Breville Juice Fountain Elite. If I was okay with having a giant juicer, I'd get the Breville instead. I think it is a better machine.
  • Most centrifugal juicers are noisy. The pulp ejecting juicers are the nosiest and that is what these juicers both are. However, a common comment I read over and over about these two juicers is that they are noisier than most. The Omega 4000 and the Breville juicers get more points for being less loud.

So in conclusion, while both Waring pro juicers are okay machines, I feel they lack something that makes them interesting. There are more appealing and better designed juicers out there that you will make you happier.

If you are a first time juicer and just testing the waters about juicing, take a look at the L'equip mini or the Breville JE95XL juicer. Both of these are good solid machines with innovative thought in their design.
